Washing Machine FAQ

Preventative maintenance
We recommend putting small items such as baby socks in bags to wash them. Always check your pockets to make sure that they are empty. Small items can drain with the water and clog the pump.
It's best to leave the door to the washing machine open when not in use to prevent it from developing a bad odor. Remove clothing shortly after it's finished washing. Cleaning the door boot regularly and leaving the door open can help. Use cleaning wipes and/or an odor remover to clean the rubber seal in the opening of the washer. If you are still experiencing an odor, you can try using Affresh which is available on Amazon or in grocery stores. It is a washing machine cleaning tablet. Also, be sure that the door bellows is draining properly. The rubber seal should not be holding water, the water should drain from it.
